Personal Training for your Mind

I just turned 53.


And my body is just not cooperating the way it used to.


So I decided to do something I’ve never done before. I hired a personal trainer.


I know myself. I want to stay in shape and remain physically active, but I will never go to a gym. Just not my thing. So instead of forcing myself to do something I don’t want to do, I found a way to make it work for me.


I’ve often said, life coaching is like having a personal trainer for your mind.

I imagined this, of course, because I’ve never actually had a personal trainer.


But now I know, and I was right.

Life coaching is like having a personal trainer for your mind.





Here’s what I love about my trainer and how coaching is similar:


She comes to me. She brings all the equipment and the plan.

I just need to show up and be present, and she leads me into changing my body.


I come to you. We talk on the phone or Zoom. I have the plan, the tools, and the know-how. You just show up, be present, and I will lead you into changing your life.


She listens and customizes a workout just for me.

I listen, and we create a plan that works just for you.


She pushes me a little harder and a little longer than I would push myself.

It’s enough to create results, but not so far that I hate the workout and want to quit.


I will challenge the beliefs that are holding you back but in a loving and empowering way.


I have one dedicated hour to focus on myself and the results that I want for my body. However, I notice that I’m more focused on physical fitness when we aren’t together and motivated to do more on my own.


You have one dedicated hour with me to focus entirely on you and on what you want for your life. But you will notice that you take all the tools that I teach you and apply them throughout the week.


 

She’s helping me reach a goal.

I hired her to help me strengthen my lower body, but I’m noticing changes in lots of other areas as well. I’m getting stronger, firmer, and more defined as a whole.


I help you reach a goal, but you will notice every area of your life changing for the better as you apply what you learn. You will begin to define your life.


She gets me, and she’s got me.

I have neck problems, and I trust her to help me not to injure myself.


I’ve got you, and I’m for you.

Now is your time to be open and vulnerable, and trust that I’m on your side and will do all that I can to help you achieve your dreams.



 

She’s trained to see what I can’t and helps me make the adjustments I didn’t know I needed.


I‘m trained to see what you can’t.

I will show you the subconscious thoughts that are holding you back, it’s often not what you expect, and help you adjust your mindset to create the life you were meant for.


My body changes during that one hour.

Your mind will change during our hour.


I’m 53 and having so much fun developing my mind and my body.


It’s never too late to create what you want, and it’s okay to ask for help.
