How to find your strengths to build a happier life

Here’s a question for you -

Do you consider what you do a job, a career or a calling?

A job is what you do to get a paycheck.

A career is something you do to get a paycheck but there is room to grow and earn more.

A calling is something that you love to do and feel purposeful about.

Did you know that you can turn a job or a career into a calling?

It’s all in how you THINK about it of course.

I have heard stories of Janitors that believe their work is a calling because they are providing a clean and safe environment for children, a friendly smile, an occasional high five that makes a child feel special.

And I have heard of doctors who view their work as a job that they do simply for the money.

Who do you think shows up more fully and experiences more joy and happiness?

Everyone wants to be happy, right?

The most common answer to the question of what do you want for your children is, I just want them to be happy.

Happiness is an important part of the process of creating a life that you love.

Research in psychology and neuroscience has consistently proven that we become successful when we are happy first, not the other way around!

In the next few weeks I will be sharing some tips on how to create more happiness in your life, because it’s a powerful mindset tool.

Let’s focus on one thing that can help us create more happiness in our work life.

Studies have shown that the more you use your natural strengths in daily life, the happier you become. This works if you are a stay at home mom or a CEO!

What are you naturally good at? Take this short survey to find out, at www.viasurvey.org.

Then ask yourself, how do I or how can I incorporate these qualities into my daily life?

Share your top five! I love getting to know people.
