Easing into 2026

I’ve been thinking about how many women I know who are incredibly capable — smart, responsible, high-functioning — and quietly exhausted.
Women who have learned how to hold it all together.
Women who can “handle it,” even when it costs them their peace.
Women whose lives may look fine on the outside… but don’t always feel that way on the inside.
If that’s you, I want you to know something gently and clearly:
You’re not doing life wrong.
And you’re not broken.
Often, what’s missing isn’t effort or discipline or motivation — it’s permission. Permission to rest without guilt. Permission to want more ease. Permission to listen to your body instead of overriding it.
So much of the stress and overwhelm I see in the women I work with isn’t because they’re incapable — it’s because they’ve been living in a way that keeps their nervous system on high alert. When we’re constantly bracing, rushing, or pushing through, even good things can feel heavy.
And the beautiful truth is this: peace isn’t something you earn after you’ve done enough. It’s something you can begin to practice now — in small, kind ways.

This week, I invite you to try one simple thing:
Take a pause before your next “yes.”
Before your next push.
Before you tell yourself you should be able to handle it.
Just notice what your body says.
You don’t have to change anything yet. Awareness alone is powerful.
This is the heart of the work I do as a life coach — helping women move out of stress, overwhelm, and exhaustion, into lives marked by calm, clarity, and quiet confidence.
Not by fixing themselves, but by learning how to support themselves differently.
If you feel a gentle pull to explore this kind of support, I’m currently opening a few private coaching spots.
I offer a complimentary 45-minute phone conversation where we simply talk — no pressure, no obligation — and see if working together feels aligned.
Simply click to fill out a contact form.
And if now isn’t the time, that’s okay too.
Let this blogpost be a reminder: you are allowed to soften. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to want a life that feels as good as it looks.
I’m glad you’re here.
With warmth,
Marcy

and this is extremely important, especially in a world that's promoting: hustling, grinding, nonstop working - it's important to take a beat, for peace, for restoration, for rejuvenation. It's not selfish, it's needed.
